hospital

Just FYI, mum is home from hospital and she looks TOTALLY fine to me. She said she had her own room and dad was allowed to stay and look after her. But to be honest, the best part of the day was at 7:30 when dad took me on the field (just kidding) woof woof x

Yes, we have had a very stressful week as dad has had a poorly heart and has been in Whiston Hospital. :-( It started on Monday night when dad started to feel ill and mum had to take him first to the doctor and then Accident & Emergency. Its a very long story (most of which I don’t quite understand) but what I do know is that is heart was beating WAY too fast and he had to stay on ward 1E  (which is the Coronary Care Ward) for a couple of days.

I am glad to say though that thanks to the excellent care of all the lovely doctors & nurses on in A&E, Resus and on the ward, he is back home with a heart that that is “plumb normal”. – BRILLIANT !!!!!

We were all very very worried about him and mum even had a cry when she came home from visiting, but I helped her by being good and licking her face when she was sad and worried.
Here is dad in hospital….
Here is the patient looking much better & sans drip xx on Twitpic

So I think even though dad is home, he is quite tired and drained, so he might be at home with me for a few days – woof woof. Actually, I have really missed him and I am glad he is back home safe and feeling better.

Welcome home dad!!! xxxxxxx

Oh well, another day another hospital!!  Not ME, my Grandad Dixon. You know I told you all he fell on Christmas day and hurt his knee? He had to go back to the fracture clinic at Whiston Hospital today to see if he knee was actually broken.  Did I show you the MASSIVE splint that he had had to wear all week?

When we went to A&E initially the though he might have fractured his knee but it turns out he has damaged the ligaments. So they actually swapped this massive splint for a leg brace and now he has to go for some physio and and MRI scan. Poor grandad. :-( But on the up side, he has got 6 weeks off work! Yay!!!

OO, did I tell you the other day, we had a lovely announcement on Christmas Day as Auntie Jenny and (Uncle) Rob got engaged!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Guess what too, Auntie Jenny asked mum to be chief bridesmaid!! She might get to wear a fancy dress -  (sorry, she TOLD me to be giddy about that!).

I myself am a little bit sad as mum & dad go back to work on Monday and this means I will miss them loads – but we will soon get back into the old routine. xx

Just a little message tell you all what has been happening today. My Auntie Jenny has been into hospital today for an operation to fix her heart so it beats properly and we have all been quite worried about her all day. But thankfully it went really well and she has had the operation and everything is fine.

She is back at home now and I just wanted to send her a big Peggy Cuddle and licky lickerson. Woof Woof xxx

HospitalAfternoon everyone, just thought I would say Hello and tell you about what’s been happening today. Mum has been in hospital this morning to have a small operation and whilst it was nothing serious, we were all still a little nervous.

We started preparations last night as dad was on “distraction duty”! This was because mum was so nervous, that every time she thought about her operation, she had to go to the loo :-) Distraction duty involved, going for a 2.5 mile run, having tea, having a bath and then watching TV till bedtime. Mum couldn’t have anything to eat or drink after midnight so she had a last drink at 23:30 and guess what?!? I was allowed to sleep in mum & dads bedroom (Happy Days)

Anyway, we all had a surprisingly good sleep and mum and dad left for the hospital about 07:00. They arrived back around 12:30 and I think they must have been starving as dad treated them to sandwiches and a sausage roll for him from the deli.

I am looking after them now, as they are both asleep on the couch. Mum is tired from the anaesthetic and dad is tired from worrying I think! I will make sure they are both fine and I suppose I will just have to lick one of them if I need to go out for a wee! Woof woof x x
