Christmas

So, I have had a wooffly Christmas and even though I haven’t had as many walks as I would like (due to the rain), it’s still been pretty ace.

I got to go to Grandma Barbara’s & Grandad Wacks on Christmas Day and then on Boxing Day, loads of people came to our den and we all had lamb stew. I am a very lucky lucky dogller. xxx

Firstly, what do you think of the new Christmas lights on my lovely blog?? Mum put them up for me tonight just in time for Christmas – Woof Woof Woof.

Mum has really been busy today and the house smells of cleaning products and Christmas cake, quite a heady combination. I like it.

As part of mums shenanigans today, she managed to take all the hair off her elbow just by cleaning the oven… she amazes me sometimes – I don’t know how she does it.

But… guess what?? Dad has now officially broken up for Christmas which means that he is at home with mum & I now for 5 whole days!! I am MEGA excited about that. :D

I actually can’t believe it’s nearly Christmas either, I’m woofly excited as I love the sparkly tree and the funny tinsely bits on the fireplace. Hmmmm, I might have to go to sleep now to dream of Father Christmas and Turkey and lots of Christmas cuddles! Woof Woof. ♥

Ok pups and hound dogs, guess what?!? It’s not that long off Christmas now, in fact today it is EXACTLY *uses claws on paws to count* 11 days till Christmas and that means I am OFFICIALLY excited. Woof Woof Woof. Mum, dad and I have put our Christmas tree up and I think I have even spied some presents underneath it…..

Mum is still at home with me until she finds another job, but even though she gave me a snotty bath yesterday (we had a fab walk in lots of muddy puddles and I got a tad dirty), we having a great time with lots of tickles and Christmassy type activities.

Aces.

*yawns*

Here I am for part II of my Boxing Day fun. All the rellies have just gone and they all seemed to enjoy mum’s lamb stew and dad’s lemon tart. Woof woof. They also played a silly game where they had to guess which famous person they were – mum was the worst as she couldn’t guess at all, silly mum…. Even I guessed Barack Obama and I wasn’t even playing!

I’ve had a word with mum and dad and they said we are just going to chill for the rest of the evening and Christmas come to that… I wonder what else exciting is going to happen..?

ps OH MY GOD I THINK I JUST HEARD MUM SAY CENTRE PARCS!!!!

Hello there  dogbloggers and welcome to Boxing Day. Phewweee, did you all have a good day yesterday? Did Father Christmas bring you lots of nice presents – were you good dogs?

I myself was brilliant and totally on top form. We had presents first of all with mum and dad, then Grandma & Grandad Dixon came round, and I got lots of pressies. Them everyone (except me) went round to Auntie Jenny’s house (I had a kip), and then mum, dad and I all went to Grandma and Grandad Wack’s to have our Christmas Dinner. :)

The den in Widnes just smelt lovely and so I spent pretty much all day hoovering and smelling the floor for dropped pringles/bits of turkey/dropped carrots and basically anything else that arrived at paw level. Mum and dad also took me for a double walk around the block, but let me tell you, it was FREEZING and quite close to the end of the walk, the frozzy snow started to hurt my paws and mum had to carry me for a bit – or that’s what I told her…. he he he

Grandma and Grandad Wack also got me lots of goodies, so even though I didn’t get much turkey, I did get some treats and my ickle belly was full all day.The only slight fly in the ointment was the stupid thing my mum made me wear….. I hate cracker prizes…. *sighs*….

Anyway, have a lovely day and no doubt I will post again later as Grandma & Grandad Dixon are coming soon with Great Grandma Jessie…lamb stew…. yummy xxx

Woof Woof Woof Woof… I am VERY excited…..its finally Christmas Eve and we have just come back from another snowy walk. Even though its nearly a week since it snowed, it still really hasn’t gone anywhere and it’s just as hard to walk on as ever.

Although, it’s not a problem for me, I’ve got 4 wheel drive and spikes. but mum and dad seemed to wobble about in places – funny.

I still thoroughly enjoyed myself and did my usual of running around, eating snow and sniffing everything I could. What’s not to like?

Hope you all have a great day and don’t forget to go to be good tonight, because you know he won’t come until you are fast asleep.

Happy Christmas Eve

xxx

Ok so i know it’s not Christmas Eve, but a it is tomorrow and in my doggy book, that is still exciting. I mean, today some of the dog food that dad won arrived and I was chomping on venison dog treats before you could woof jingle bells :-)

Also guess what? I am writing this post from my dad’s brand new iPad which he won in a competition…
Happy Christmas... It's not from me, he totally won in ... on Twitpic

Not only that, but mum didn’t have to have her root canal, just some funny filling & no sedation… Yipeee, what a great day xxx

Well haven’t things in my den changed over the last couple of days?!? At the end of last week, I was having to cuddle and lick mum almost constantly as she seems really fed up. At first I panicked as I thought we had run out of dog food :(   But it just turned out that the central heating wasn’t working, she had toothache and she had a MASSIVE project in her work den that needed finishing and was stressing her out… nothing too important then? Silly mum…

But this week things have changed completely with my mum and dad having a brilliant couple of days.. .you know that we love a good list here at dogblog… here you go:

  1. The treat man from British Gas came on Monday and finally fixed our central heating. After 2 weeks of cold, we were all very happy about that.
  2. Dad won some dog food for me, after entering a sort of competition on Twitter. I am the MOST pleased about this.
  3. Dad went to the Doctors for the results of his ECG following his heart problems in September and was given a clean bill of health!!! Mum and dad seemed very pleased with this, I got tickles, so it must be good?!
  4. Dad’s team at work have been nominated for an award, for which they have to go to a “posh” do :-)
  5. Finally, dad entered a competition last week and on Monday, found out he had WON AN iPad!!!!!!

I have to say that the iPad news made mum and dad do an actual conga around the living and dining room, so much so that I thought they had gone temporarily a bit mental – which made me start to shake. Mum told me to stop being silly and gave me a big cuddle – Woof Woof.

The only slight fly in the ointment is that mum has still got a bit of toothache and it going to the dentist tomorrow. Actually, its not a fly in my ointment at all as mum will probably be having the sedation thing where she looks a bit tipsy and sleeps for most of the afternoon.  Actually *whispers*, dad and I are planning to play on the PS3 and maybe watch a scary film.

Only 3 more sleeps before Father Christmas comes… I am very excited… xxxx

Woof Woof Woof, as you can probably guess from the title of this post, I have put up our Christmas decorations today! I did of course let mum and dad help, they are much taller than me, so I basically just had to project manage :)

So in our living room window we have some stars, a Father Christmas and a Christmas tree. In the bedroom window we have a holly and then of course our beautiful Christmas tree with lots of “special” decorations. These special decorations are ones that have been given to us as presents or extra specially fancy ones that we have bought ourselves. What do you think?

I am of course rocking the traditional Christmas hat and I am very excited as it’s on 20 days until Christmas. Woof Woof…turkey here we come….

Wow, mum has just told me that it is only 34 days till Christmas day and only 14 days until we are going to put our Christmas tree up! To quote the young pups of today O.M.G!

Mum, dad and I LOVE Christmas and apart from our birthdays’ it is our favourite day of the year. Some people say that as you get older that Christmas is “all about the kids”, but we don’t have any of those (too much snot) and so in our den, Christmas is ALL ABOUT US!!!!! Woof Woof Woof.

I think for Christmas this year I will ask for a chicken hotpot and a lamb stew….. whaaattt????? I think that’s a cool present ;)
