Wow we didn’t half have a busy day yesterday. Mum spent the WHOLE day baking and in the end she made:
- Red Velvet Cake with buttercream/cream cheese frosting.
- Plain cupcakes with chocolate buttercream frosting, decorated with yellow sugar flowers.
- Peppermint and chocolate creams
- Chocolate marshmallow fudge
No wonder she had to go for a afternoon snoozer! Dad watched his beloved Liverpool beat Everton 2-0 and we had a great day. THENNNNNN just when I thought we were in for a very quiet night, I started to smell chips and Grandma Barbara, Grandad Wack, Uncle Patrick and Auntie Alison all came round to give me lots of cuddles. Woof Woof Woof.
I wonder what today will bring? Maybe a walk? Maybe a sleep? Maybe CHICKEN!!!
Apparently cupcakes aren’t for dogs?!? Now I had a chat to mum about this, and she told me that dogs should only eat the food in their bowls and other things given to them by their packs, and everything else I should leave alone. Now I am a good dog normally, but can I tell you a secret? The minute mum went into the other room I crept out of my basket and had a cheeky lick of the butter cream blobs that had fallen on the floor – it was YUMMY!! *licks lips*.
When I heard mum coming back, I ran into my basket quickly and I am pretty sure she didn’t hear me.
Although my tummy doesn’t feel too spectacular now, I am sure it doesn’t have anything to do with the raw cake mixture I also snaffled from near the bin. *takes a gaviscon*
Anyway, mum and dad are a little stiff today after walking 9 miles yesterday for their Shine training walk. I didn’t go with them like normal as 9 miles is just a little too far for my 12 year old legs – s’ok though, I stayed at home and just inspected the inside of my eyelids – win win=Woof Woof.
Dad is just watching the football, then later we are all off to Grandma Barbara to have a belated birthday party for Auntie Alison, who was in India for her actual birthday. Let’s hope she had a lovely time with Auntie Jill (who also went) and their “Delhi Belly” didn’t give them too much gip…
Woo Hoo – Love Sunday’s I do. xxxxx
Wow, here we are again at the end of another glorious weekend. The weather has been lovely again today so we have all made the most of it. Yesterday I took mum & dad to the Grange Valley School Summer Fayre. They had lots of fun playing with my cousin Lola on the bouncy castle:
I would of course helped with the bouncy castle but I wouldn’t want everyone to get jealous at just how good I was
It was quite warm on Saturday so we were all glad to get home – especially dad as he had ran 7 miles in the morning (WOW – Woof Woof) and was pretty tired…so he went for a zzzz.
Then today I spent all morning minding the den whilst mum & dad went to help Uncle Patrick at the Disability Awareness Day at Walton Hall Gardens. Uncle Patrick and Auntie Alison run a new charity called Re-Value and today we all managed to raise £280!!! How cool is that???
When mum & dad got back dad took me to my favourite pet shop to buy some food for me and then we all came back for a chill. Now apparently there is some kind of World Cup Final Football thing on tonight, which I think they should have more often as mum HATES the world cup and every time it’s on we always go for a walk – WOOF WOOF.
Good Morning All – are you well this morning? I certainly am – Woof Woof. Firstly (and most importantly), I immediately have to wish my Auntie Alison a very Happy Birthday!

Auntie Alison
I am not sure how old she is, but if I had to guess I would say 23! ♥
We have also been out this morning for a walk which included Tesco, the park & the post office. It’s all to do with mum’s driving licence (or lack of due to complications), but we had fun and it’s always nice to go our for a walk with the pack.
I think we mightbe going out for a run later – so I will have to keep my ickle paws crossed and have a zzzz in preparation.
Bye for now

Ok dogbloggers, are you comfortable in your doggy bed? Well I shall begin (Woof Woof). Today has been brilliant so far as mum has been at home with me all day. She did try to get to work, but got stuck in traffic for 2 hours so she just came home again
Also, I have just come back from a run with the pack and as usual I run alongside dad with my bungee lead attached to his belt. It’s just BRILL when we go running as we all get puffed out and get to eat our scrummy tea when we get in.
Tomorrow is going to be even more exciting as we are going to a special do at the Britannia Country Hotel in Didsbury. Mum & dad are getting their bestest togs on and going to a dinner dance in aid of one of the charities mum works with called The Mustard Tree. Now I believe that I can go to the hotel but I can’t go to the actual party?! Oh well, I am sure it will be an adventure none-the-less.
Over the weekend, mum tells me that Grandma Barbara & Grandad Wack are coming to see me and maybe even Auntie Jill and Uncle Richard!! Woof Woof. It’s also my lovely cousin Lola’s birthday on Monday – (she will be 4) – and mum & dad are going out to some snowy thing with her on Sunday to celebrate, how COOL is that? (Geddit!) xxxxx
And Finally – I am FAMOUS!!! I am featured in an article on the Run in England Website about dad getting motivated to run and join Auntie Alison’s running group.
p.s. I have created a new media page with some of the videos that we have taken since Christmas. Click here to view, but be warned – I am not NOT in them all…. he he he
Auntie Alison & Uncle Patrick are here!!! Dad is showing them how to use Uncle Patrick’s new website. There are chocolate biscuits, but I’m not allowed any
But I am going to give mum my bestest sad face and see if I can get a treat. Woof Woof! Xx

Firstly, good news, I have found mum! She eventually turned up yesterday after dad went out to find her. He had left her at something called “Trebaron Garden Centre” because when dad put the big box thing in the car with our new garden furniture in it, they couldn’t fit mum in as well (Woof Woof). So mum stayed behind with a drink and dad came home to drop everything off.
But today has been brilliant to as mum has been and done the Sefton Park Race for Life in Liverpool. The Race for Life’s are why mum starting running in the first place and she does one every year. They are in aid of Cancer Research and she just loves them. It is MAD hot today so she just poddled round, but really enjoyed it. Auntie Alison also did it and they both had a brilliant time:
Dad is going to spend the afternoon putting up our garden furniture so I might either help him or have a sleep… I haven’t decided?!?
See you soon
Love

One word BRILLIANT!! Auntie Alison is brilliant!! She completed the London Marathon on Sunday (26th April 2009) in the amazing time of 04:42:57 and we are very very proud of her. WELL DONE xx
Well the answer to the question above, is very very happy
We have just come back from a 5 mile run around Carr Mill Dam in St Helens. It is a lovely day today all sunny and spring like – who’d have thought in Spring eh… So, the clocks went forward as well last night, so we lost an hour – but we did the run anyway
I enjoyed it loads and met so many lovely dogs and their owners, although there was a boxer dog that I didn’t like very much. Hey ho, I started the morning with a little hide/snooze under mum & dad’s bed and it just got even better from there. Check out our pictures – it was too cool!
Mum is almost up to the actual 10k distance (6.2 miles) and I am sure that she will be able to do the race no problem. In other news, Auntie Alison has run in the Liverpool half marathon today (show off) as part of her preparation for the London Marathon in about 4 weeks! I’ll let you know how she did!
Love
Peggy xx
UPDATE: Just found out Auntie Alison did the Liverpool half marathon in an amazing time of 01:53:00
She even said it felt easy – she is a superstar! WELL DONE AUNTIE ALISON X X
