Gosh, I have been a bit quiet over the last week haven’t I?! Well it’s not because I don’t still love you all, it’s just because I haven’t really been up to ‘owt! We were supposed to be going up Pendle Hill on Saturday, but mum decided that it would be far too warm for me and besides which, both she and dad were shattered and couldn’t quite be bothered – CHARMING!!!
But we have got a busy week this week as tonight I get to do at least 2 walks as mum & dad are going out to see some big dog called Jay-z who is from America!! Apparently he is good at rapping which I can only imagine has got something to do with birthday or Christmas presents? Who the woof knows?????
Then on Wednesday Mum is very excited as the very final Big Brother series is starting on Channel 4 and mum is a massive fan…. now as far as I know dogs have only been in big brother twice so, I can can take it or leave it. Pfft.
Finally on Friday my (hang on, let me get this right), my Grandma Dixon’s, cousin’s son is getting married and mum & dad are going to evening “do”. I have asked if I can go, but no dogs allowed
How come I never get to go to parties? Maybe the vicious rumor that I just steal all the food has spread…. drat.
Anyway, off for a zzz and to see where else we can go on our hollibobs when we get there – less that 2 weeks to go now you know. xxx

So usually at the weekend, I get to go on at least one training run with mum & dad, but its nearly Sunday lunchtime and I haven’t been on one yet? Mum and dad went yesterday and did a 6 mile run, but I wasn’t allowed to go. Now I have had a think about this and I heard mum say something about them needing to train on the roads and me not being able to keep up for 6 miles, but I still don’t get it.
Anyway, I have decided not to be too moody about it, just maybe the right amount so that I get extra tickles when they feel bad.
We did however have a lively day yesterday when my cousin Lola-Mai came to visit us and when I say lively I mean, by the time she arrived back at our house she was VERY grumpy! SO grumpy in fact that she had the mother of all paddys and eventually mum had to take her back to Grandmas for her to calm down. It was all because she fell asleep in the back of the car and did not want to be woken up.
She must still be our friend though as despite her 40 minute screaming session yesterday, she has been to see us again ths morning. We love her lots, but she doesn’t half make a lot of noise when she’s in a mood.
Plans for today include maybe going for a walk later and then mum & dad are off to a wedding…happy days x
Evening All! Just thought I would check in with you and tell what a wonderful day we have all had. I am still not allowed to go for a walk and things because of my operation, but all the same I have been on a lovely trip with mum & dad. We have all been to Auntie Val & Uncle Joe’s Wedding in Johnstown in Wales with the reception at a lovely venue called Stiwt Theatre. Mum said that both venues were stunning and the service was beautiful and they had a lovely time.
Actually it wasn’t a wedding at all, it was a blessing to celebrate Auntie Val & Uncle Joes 50th Wedding Anniversary, I will let you insert you own jokes here about life senteces! I didn’t go to the service because of my cone etc and I basically stayed back at the den a.k.a. The Travelodge and waited for mum & dad to come back.
They did come back eventually and then guess what happened….. we all came home and didn’t even stay in the hotel, even though it cost £80 overall
It was because dad wanted to come home and watch the football – something to do with Liverpool being in with a bark (shout) of winning some sort of league thing for the first time in ages. Yawn..
But we DID have a fab time and dad in particular said that the was very proud of Janet & Gaynor of doing such a good job of organising a very special occasion for their mum & dad. We love a little trip out to Wales and we only hope they invite us to many more “do’s”!!
So before I go off to sleeps, I guess I just want to say CONGRATULATIONS to Auntie Val & Uncle Joe on 50 years of marriage and like dad said to mum earlier – I hope that my Mum & Dad have as many happy years. Woof Woof xx
p.s. To show respect to our visit to Wales today and any Welsh speakers amongst you dog bloggers – see below the photos my lttle post in Welsh.

Evening All, how are you all doing? I am a little better, well actually a little worse, but basically OK. I have been to see our lovely veterinary nurse this afternoon to have my stitches checked and we had slightly worrying information. Apparently when they removed my lump they had to cut slightly further and deeper than expected as the lump had affected some blood vessels. But whatever the lump turns out to be, the nurse said that they got it all and so I guess we will just have to wait and see what the lab says.
I have felt a little uncomfortable since we got back and this is probably because where my new scar is, it is quite bruised and sore – I have been a little too giddy and mum says that I have to be stay calm and stop bounding about like a mad fool! I suppose this means I am banned from going our for a run with mum & dad for a little while
But it might just turn out to be a cyst and I will back to normal in two shakes of a Peggy’s tail! (Ha Ha)
In much better news, mum, dad & I are going to a Wedding on Saturday in Wales. Well it’s not actually a wedding, dad’s Auntie Val & Uncle Joe are renewing their wedding vows after being married for 50 years. They are having the ceremony here:
It should be lovely and both Mum & Dad have got new outfits and are looking forward to it.
So before I go, her are my latest mug/horror shots. I get more bruised by the day:
