image1695708539.jpgMorning All! Just thought I would pop onto dogblog  just to tell all my worried friends that I am feeling a lot better. I went to see Vet Anna last night and she said that I might have a virus or something, but I am probably fighting it off myself. The best thing about seeing Anna was that she was due to give me my yearly injection, but we had to delay this by 1 week due to my slight poorliness. Woof Woof!

So tonight we are having a little adventure….mum, dad and I are all going to Auntie Alison & Uncle Patrick’s for tea and then guess what….. for the first time in 5 and a half years, I am going to Grandma Barbies & Grandad Wacks!!!! Can you even believe it? Now, the thing is, until Grandma Barbie met me, she didnt really like dogs that much and its only as she has got to know me  and see how wonderful I am (honest),  that now we are bestest friends. So for the first time tonight I am going to their house whilst mum & dad fix their freeview box. I am SOOOOOO excited… I wonder what it smells like? I have already had a word with dad and we have decided that we will follow Auntie Jill’s mantra of  “dogs with clean paws are welcome” and make sure I am spic and span before I go in.

Did I mention that I am SO excited?! Woof Woof Woof Woof. xxx

Peggy Sleeps

Hello everyone, how are you doing? I am not feeling very well today :-( I was sick last night at the top of the stairs, and again in the dining room overnight. Mum & dad said they think there might have been a bit of blood in it, so I am going to the vets tonight to say hello to my lovely vet Anna and to see what she thinks. I am sure it will be fine.

I have been for a little walk this morning with mum, but we just went to the Huntsman Grass and I had a wee and we went home.  I am just waiting for the rest of the pack to come home from work then they can give me a cuddle and I can give everybody a great big lick!

p.s. this is me on our frozzy walk yesterday morning! I LOVED it!. xx

vetsI went to see Vet Anna last night and she told me I have got something called arthritis. I am not really sure what this is, but mum says it’s because I am getting older and I have creaky joints.

So to help me, mum has been to the chemist at Piccadilly Station and got me some Glucosamine Tablets which she assures me taste like chicken….. dunno if I believe her…
Woof Woof!

Peggy Broken ToeHere I am, with a (suspected) broken toe. As you can see I can’t put any weight on my paw as it hurts too much. I am hobbling around and everyone is feeling very sorry for me (even though Mum says it is my own fault).

My drugs are kicking in nicely though and it IS starting to feel much better. Dad did suggest that they give me these drugs every day, then I might not get so barky when the postman comes and attempt another baby-gate jumping record!

vetsWell dogbloggers, as I reported yesterday, I have hurt my paw :-( Mum has had the day off work and just taken me to the vets and our lovely vet Anna has said that I have either sprained the joint in my toe or it is broken. Anna said that she wasn’t going to x-ray it as it costs money and there would be not a huge amount they could do if it confirms the break and it will heal naturally.

Ho hum, so I will have to limp around for a little longer and take the anti inflammatory drugs that Anna gave me. Still, it’s nice that mum is at home.

p.s. don’t tell mum, but even with a (suspected) broken toe, I can still jump over the baby gate….. here is an example of my earlier work:

Evening All, how are you all doing? I am a little better, well actually a little worse, but basically OK.  I have been to see our lovely veterinary nurse this afternoon to have my stitches checked and we had slightly worrying information.  Apparently when they removed my lump they had to cut slightly further and deeper than expected as the lump had affected some blood vessels. But whatever the lump turns out to be, the nurse said that they got it all and so I guess we will just have to wait and see what the lab says.

I have felt a little uncomfortable since we got back and this is probably because where my new scar is, it is quite bruised and sore – I have been a little too giddy and mum says that I have to be stay calm and stop bounding about like a mad fool! I suppose this means I am banned from going our for a run with mum & dad for a little while :-( But it might just turn out to be a cyst and I will back to normal in two shakes of a Peggy’s tail! (Ha Ha)

In much better news, mum, dad & I are going to a Wedding on Saturday in Wales. Well it’s not actually a wedding, dad’s Auntie Val & Uncle Joe are renewing their wedding vows after being married for 50 years. They are having the ceremony here:

It should be lovely and both Mum & Dad have got new outfits and are looking forward to it.

So before I go, her are my latest mug/horror shots. I get more bruised by the day:

vetsHello all, just to let you know that as reported the other day, Peggy has been into the vets today for a biopsy. I have just spoken to the Vet Nurse and she told me that Peggy has her little op and is fine and dandy. I am going to pick her up later – so I will let you know how she is and we will keep our fingers crossed that it isn’t anything scary.
Love
Gill (Peggy’s Mum)

Just thought I would say a mini hello this evening. Had a quiet day as mum has been at home today. Only one thing to tell you really, but I have to go into the vets next Tuesday for a biopsy as mum has found a little lump on one of my teets. Our lovely vet Anna said that it is probably just a cyst, but it’s best to have it checked. I’m not worried, I am sure it will be nothing.
Anyway, I’m on anti-biotics in the meantime and just hoping that I don’t have to wear another cone! Bad times :-(
