Hi dog bloggers, Peggy’s mum here again, just to let you know that Peggy is safely installed once again in the mini intensive care suite in our living room. She is actually fine after her biopsy, but just a little sore and groggy from the anathestic and stiches. Who knew that after her horrific injury in October that she would be having an operation so soon.
So, she has to go back to the vets on Thursday (2/4/09) to check her stitches – which have to be in 10 days and we find out whether her lump was nasty or not within 1 week. Keep all your fingers and paws crossed for her and us.
For the ones among you that don’t mind seeing pictures of a slightly beat up and grumpy patient, here she is:
Well, I am almost no longer a poorly puppy. Just check me out….
- Front Wound Almost Healed
- Back wound almost healed

- From the other side, you wouldn’t know there was anything wrong with her!
Everyone is dead pleased with me, mum & dad are both fully back to work and I can go for a walk again!! Best of all…… NO CONE!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t tell you how excited I am about that. It means I can go back in my dog crate again and in my special corner by the side of the couch in the living room. Don’t get me wrong, it was nice on my blanket under the dining table, but there’s no place like your crate now eh. Now then, do you thnk it would be too soon to persuage mum to let me run myself daft at Delamere yet?
I’ve had my chest drains out!! I’ve been to the vets again this afternoon and they took out the chest drains. It only hurt a little bit and the vet says that I am healing up a little bit. Mum was telling me today that she has emailed St Helens council and copied the St Helens Star in, in the hope that they remove whatever it was that did this to me from the path at Sankey Valley. Lets hope they do something. Here is a little photographic update of how it looks now…
- Front Wound
- Looking a bit manky
- Feeling a bit sorry for myself
