Afternoon all, just thought I would jump on dogblog and tell you that I have finally had my stitches out! Come on!! They had started to irritate me so I was glad to get rid of them. I still don’t really like it in the vets and I wouldn’t lie down on the table when we went so the vet nurse had to take my stitches out when I was on the floor!!! I was a bit wound up and thoroughly knackered and relieved when it was all done!
But when we got home (cone free I might add), Gran and Grandad Dixon came around and they gave me lots of cuddles and tickles. Here I am with Grandad…
So far so good and Grannie Barbie and Wack are here now watching Liverpool with Dad. I went for a little walk with dad before to the shop so hopefully it won’t be long before I can go training with them again. No cone makes for a brilliant Saturday xx
Hello all, just a little blog whilst I tell you about our trip to the vets this afternoon. The good news is that I don’t have the big C
Our lovely vet Anna said they even checked the lymph nodes and everything and there were no signs of cancer…. Phew
It turns out it was just blocked milk ducts and nothing too serious! Mum is a relieved and happy on the couch and dad has gone for a run he is so giddy! Happy Days x
Evening All, how are you all doing? I am a little better, well actually a little worse, but basically OK. I have been to see our lovely veterinary nurse this afternoon to have my stitches checked and we had slightly worrying information. Apparently when they removed my lump they had to cut slightly further and deeper than expected as the lump had affected some blood vessels. But whatever the lump turns out to be, the nurse said that they got it all and so I guess we will just have to wait and see what the lab says.
I have felt a little uncomfortable since we got back and this is probably because where my new scar is, it is quite bruised and sore – I have been a little too giddy and mum says that I have to be stay calm and stop bounding about like a mad fool! I suppose this means I am banned from going our for a run with mum & dad for a little while
But it might just turn out to be a cyst and I will back to normal in two shakes of a Peggy’s tail! (Ha Ha)
In much better news, mum, dad & I are going to a Wedding on Saturday in Wales. Well it’s not actually a wedding, dad’s Auntie Val & Uncle Joe are renewing their wedding vows after being married for 50 years. They are having the ceremony here:
It should be lovely and both Mum & Dad have got new outfits and are looking forward to it.
So before I go, her are my latest mug/horror shots. I get more bruised by the day:
Hi dog bloggers, Peggy’s mum here again, just to let you know that Peggy is safely installed once again in the mini intensive care suite in our living room. She is actually fine after her biopsy, but just a little sore and groggy from the anathestic and stiches. Who knew that after her horrific injury in October that she would be having an operation so soon.
So, she has to go back to the vets on Thursday (2/4/09) to check her stitches – which have to be in 10 days and we find out whether her lump was nasty or not within 1 week. Keep all your fingers and paws crossed for her and us.
For the ones among you that don’t mind seeing pictures of a slightly beat up and grumpy patient, here she is:
Just a little message tell you all what has been happening today. My Auntie Jenny has been into hospital today for an operation to fix her heart so it beats properly and we have all been quite worried about her all day. But thankfully it went really well and she has had the operation and everything is fine.
