Well what you are looking at are some photos of a new cafe in Haydock called “The Old Bank*”. It is on Church Road in Haydock:
So she has finally done it, mum has got her new STRAIGHT hair!!! Wanna See?
So she had it done at a brilliant salon in Warrington called Jakata. Her lovely stylist was called Lisa and mum said she was just amazing (as you can see from the after picture) and was so professional and not to mention SO good at cutting and straightening hair.
The process is called “Opti-Smooth” and it took 4 and a half hours in total to go from curly to straight and as you can see… it looks super straight, sleek and sexy!!! Mum is VERY pleased!!
I myself didn’t even recognise her at first when she came home, but one quick sniff and I realised it was my mum only upgraded!!

What a lazy day I have had today with Mum… she has been working from home today and I have been making hanging out with her. She didn’t feel very well this morning so I was really good and left her alone for a bit, but she felt much better by lunchtime so I was allowed in the living room with her.
This afternoon she has been working hard and steam has been coming off her fingers on the laptop…. she must be tired! If MY paws had to do that much typing I think they might drop off
It’s not long now until we go on our holidays to Bigbury-on-Sea and even though we have never been before, I am sure it will be fantastic. It’s just mum, dad and I going which means we have have lots of dog walks, ice creams and lazy days…. we won’t be too bothered if it rains, but hopefully it will be a little bit sunny.
Oh my Woofy Goodness. We have been running in the rain tonight! Can I tell you a secret though… I bloomin loved it. When we set off we were going to do 3 miles through the park and onto the East Lancs Road, but when we got outside it was totally chucking it down with rain. So after a couple of minutes of getting wet, mum decided that we had better do a shorter “loop” instead so that we didn’t all get fed up and end up like drowned rats! Anyway, dad tried something new tonight when we were running, instead of holding my lead, he sort of tied it to his waist belt and I just ran alongside him happy as, well as a Peggy Dog can be. I think it worked pretty well, and dad seems to love it as he didnt have to hold onto my lead the whole way round.
Anyway, we did get drowned despite the shorter run, but I did get to go off the lead for a bit and then dad dried me and mum brushed me when we got in. Lovely.
Time for a little zzzzz near the radiator, after chomping down a whole tin of corned beef I found in my bowl! Woof Woof xx

Well, I just HAD to tell you about something that mum & dad have done this weekend. I know I always tell you about our walks and training and family stuff, but this weekend Mum & Dad have recorded a podcast for dad’s PS3 website.
They had a blast and if you fancy a listen, follow this link to The Sixth Axis. Why not leave a comment and let us know what you think!

Afternoon everyone, just thought I would say Hello and tell you about what’s been happening today. Mum has been in hospital this morning to have a small operation and whilst it was nothing serious, we were all still a little nervous.
We started preparations last night as dad was on “distraction duty”! This was because mum was so nervous, that every time she thought about her operation, she had to go to the loo
Distraction duty involved, going for a 2.5 mile run, having tea, having a bath and then watching TV till bedtime. Mum couldn’t have anything to eat or drink after midnight so she had a last drink at 23:30 and guess what?!? I was allowed to sleep in mum & dads bedroom (Happy Days)
Anyway, we all had a surprisingly good sleep and mum and dad left for the hospital about 07:00. They arrived back around 12:30 and I think they must have been starving as dad treated them to sandwiches and a sausage roll for him from the deli.
I am looking after them now, as they are both asleep on the couch. Mum is tired from the anaesthetic and dad is tired from worrying I think! I will make sure they are both fine and I suppose I will just have to lick one of them if I need to go out for a wee! Woof woof x x
