Killzone
Now then, you now how I get excited when someone gets my lead out or the way I get giddy around tea time and around the time anyone comes to visit us????? Well dad was so giddy today he could hardly contain his little self! I don’t know if I mentioned this, but my dad is a bit of a gaming geek-boy (as mum calls him) and he even has his own site called TheSixthAxis. He is a little bit “mental nutsack” at the best of times, but today he was a complete lost cause
This was all because some game called Killzone®2 was out today and he had it pre-ordered for delivery. He kept texting and emailing mum all day, “It is here yet?”, “Do you think it will have arrived yet?” – even though mum was at work in Manchester all morning and at a meeting in Rochdale all afternoon!
Anway, you will be pleased to hear that it did arrive and he is playing as I blog. As for the weekend, well mum said we might go for a little walk down to the canal tomorrow and then we are off to Sherdley Park on Sunday to do our long training run. Happy Days xx
p.s. Dad was so excited this week about Killzone®2 that he wrote a brilliant story about it – check it out by clicking on the link below

Daddy & I after our Run
I am deeeeppressed….
I miss the forest
My chin has been dragging the floor since we got home. Dad has taken me out for a run this afternoon, but it just wasn’t the same. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE running with dad, but there were no squizzers, just cars and pavements.
Still, it’s not all bad, I got lots of turkey from mum when she was making dad’s tea and I got to sleep next the lovely, warm radiator (which has been on for most of the day). Mum & dad are both going back to work tomorrow after we have all been off for 2 weeks together. I am going to miss them loads… but I guess I will get lots of tickles when they come back YAY!!!

Brrr
Brrr it was cold this morning! Dad got up at 6am this morning and took me out for a walk.
I think that he is the best daddy in the world as he knows I love going for a walk, but man it was cold… We just went up to the Huntsman grass and back whilst I had a wee and a sniff, but it was GREAT! I loved it.
Mum said something this morning about only 6 more days at work before we are all off for Christmas, she was doing lots of smiling so that I think that must be a good thing! I am back off to bed, have a lovely day everyone xx
What a lovely day I have had today!!! It started off when mum went to work and dad has a lie in. Dad waited until mum went (it was still dark!) and then he shouted me upstairs. I’m not normally allowed upstairs and especially not on the bed, but every now and them, for a treat, they let me up. Anyway, I jumped on the bed and had a little play-flight with dad, I always let him win though, he loves it.
After that, dad and I went for a walk down to the canal at the bottom of our road and I had a whale of a time jumping in all the mud and sniffing every leaf. When we got back though, dad tried to wipe my very muddy paws, but had a bit of trouble.. I should have known what was coming
Before I knew it, I was in the bath and getting drowned with that sprayey thing that water comes out of. *shivers* I HATE baths, they make me feel sad, but the only good thing is that when I come out I can have a right good shake to get myself dry.
Dad said something about me covering the walls with water, but who cares, he gave me my breakfast and went to work, house to myself again.. lovely!
All in all, despite the bath, a very good way to start the day!

Well, what a funny couple of days. We have all had a lovely weekend. We have been out for walks, mum had the funny drunk thing again on Friday and spent most of the day asleep on the couch. Dad said she had a “wisdom” tooth out… does that mean that mum is going to be thick from now on? Well she fed me three times on Saturday instead of twice… so I guess so!
I didn’t end up going to the lakes the other week as it was far too wet! Take a look a the video mum did..
Mum & Dad drove all the way to Keswick only to find out that it had been called off due to “Storm Damage”. Never mind, apparently they met Grandma & Grandad Lysons and Auntie Jill for lunch so it wasn’t totally wasted.
Well, mum is off work today so we might have a little walk later and if I am lucky, I might chase some bunny rabbits!
Bye for now x
I’ve had a great day! Mum & Dad took me for a massive 5 mile walk around Carr Mill Dam. It was amazing and I a pooped! We started off from the car park at the Ship Inn in Blackbrook and then walked along the path till we got to the Dam and then we did a full loop of the dam. There were lots of men fishing, some people in tents with lovely sausages on a fire and even some powerboat racing! (which was noisy, but exciting. I spent ages rolling in something smelly, but mum was NOT happy! When we got home, they took me straight upstairs and made me have a *shivers* bath!! I HATE baths! They make me all wet and cold, I have to shake loads and run around till I get warm again!
I love going for walks though and today I met loads of doggy friends to sniff and play with, even a tan dog that looked just like me! We even took some photos which you can see in our gallery.
All in all I’ve had a lovely day and mum tell’s me that dad is running the Manchester 10k tomorrow morning, so I will have to keep a look out for him on the TV! Woof Luck To Dad!
Bye for now

Well it’s a little while since I wrote in my dog blog, but I’ve been a busy little doggie!
What’s happened? Well everything and nothing really. I have been spending my days as usual, sleeping and waiting for mum and dad to come home. We have been on many walks and trips out and today dad is taking me for a long walk to Carr Mill Dam whilst mum is working. Mum hand dad have been watching a cool guy called Cesar Millan on the TV and they have been trying some of his techniques out on me. I am getting good as well!
I have been enjoying the burst of nice weather we are having, is there anything better than lying in the sun and having a snooze? It’s only about 4 weeks now till we go on our holidays to Torquay, and I am looking forward to having a good run on the beach and in the Devon countryside. I am NOT looking forward to the journey though.. I don’t mind the car but mum says it will takes ages….. I will just have to nosy out of the back window like I normally do!
Anyway, I have been rolling in something smelly this morning so I am hoping that mum doesn’t make me go in the bath later.. .what do you think my chances are?
Bye for now
xx
Do you know, if its not one thing its another! I am all snuggled up in my den, when dad get’s up for work and makes me go out for a wee. I just get settled again when that horrible postman comes and makes me bark my head off. Then the pizza leaflets and the St Helens Star… what’s a dog got to do to get a good kip around here? Thankfully mum is off today as she and dad are getting a new bed and mum is waiting in.
I have just realised that I have lots of different nicknames, the current count is 7!! See below:
- Pegler
- Peg
- Pecksickle
- Dog Face
- Dogginton
- Trouble
The list goes on! Actually, I wonder if any of my doggy friends have nicknames? Why don’t you email me peggy@haydockdogblog.co.uk if you fancy sharing, mum says she’ll post the best ones on my blog next time. Woof and Licks Pegg x
Its snowing, its snowing!!! I just love it when it snows, there is so much to sniff under the white stuff and it feel lovely to roll over and over in it! Auntie Jill has been again this morning whilst daddy gave her a football lesson. Mum & I went for a walk on the field with them to say hello. I was just sniffing in my normal places when I spotted dad in the distance. I ran towards him as fast as I could and he gave me a big cuddle and fuss and then I ran back to mum and she did the same!! I love running I do.
Mum and I carried on with our walk and we met 2 brown dogs who were dead friendly. I played with them for a while until I got fed up and went back to my sniffing. When we got back, I was so mucky again that mum had to tie me up and rub me clean with a towel. She think I don’t like it cause I always look sad, but I love it really and if I look sad enough, I always get a chew stick… bonus!
Auntie Jill has gone home now and dad is in the bath, hmmmm time for a tummy tickle I think…. “Mum!!!!” Here is a picture of me & mum in the snow! Bye xxx
