Oh well, another day another hospital!!  Not ME, my Grandad Dixon. You know I told you all he fell on Christmas day and hurt his knee? He had to go back to the fracture clinic at Whiston Hospital today to see if he knee was actually broken.  Did I show you the MASSIVE splint that he had had to wear all week?

When we went to A&E initially the though he might have fractured his knee but it turns out he has damaged the ligaments. So they actually swapped this massive splint for a leg brace and now he has to go for some physio and and MRI scan. Poor grandad. :-( But on the up side, he has got 6 weeks off work! Yay!!!

OO, did I tell you the other day, we had a lovely announcement on Christmas Day as Auntie Jenny and (Uncle) Rob got engaged!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Guess what too, Auntie Jenny asked mum to be chief bridesmaid!! She might get to wear a fancy dress -  (sorry, she TOLD me to be giddy about that!).

I myself am a little bit sad as mum & dad go back to work on Monday and this means I will miss them loads – but we will soon get back into the old routine. xx

Auntie Jenny with Lola

Just a little message tell you all what has been happening today. My Auntie Jenny has been into hospital today for an operation to fix her heart so it beats properly and we have all been quite worried about her all day. But thankfully it went really well and she has had the operation and everything is fine.

She is back at home now and I just wanted to send her a big Peggy Cuddle and licky lickerson. Woof Woof xxx

HospitalAfternoon everyone, just thought I would say Hello and tell you about what’s been happening today. Mum has been in hospital this morning to have a small operation and whilst it was nothing serious, we were all still a little nervous.

We started preparations last night as dad was on “distraction duty”! This was because mum was so nervous, that every time she thought about her operation, she had to go to the loo :-) Distraction duty involved, going for a 2.5 mile run, having tea, having a bath and then watching TV till bedtime. Mum couldn’t have anything to eat or drink after midnight so she had a last drink at 23:30 and guess what?!? I was allowed to sleep in mum & dads bedroom (Happy Days)

Anyway, we all had a surprisingly good sleep and mum and dad left for the hospital about 07:00. They arrived back around 12:30 and I think they must have been starving as dad treated them to sandwiches and a sausage roll for him from the deli.

I am looking after them now, as they are both asleep on the couch. Mum is tired from the anaesthetic and dad is tired from worrying I think! I will make sure they are both fine and I suppose I will just have to lick one of them if I need to go out for a wee! Woof woof x x
