Good Morning dogbloggers – just thought you might like to see a video that has been made which celebrates the project that my mum works on:

Mum is dead proud of this and she told me to tell you all that her particular bit is the Greater Manchester bit and Mustard Tree.  Woof Woof. xxx

Well guess what, both mum & dad have gone back to work again today – they have been snowed in since Tuesday and even this morning was a little bit hairy for them in their little cars.

nhs_logo.jpg  plus  GMCVO-blue-logo.jpg = work?!

So I am back in charge of the den again and I will let you know if anything exciting happens – that is if I am not asleep of course… ;-)

Well, I had a pretty average day today, but mum had a really adventurous one! She had a meeting for the thing she calls work and had to go to Penrith in the Lake District – which is MILES away. She said that even though she got back much later than usual, she had a really good day and a good meeting.

Normally mum goes everywhere in the car, but today she got the train and was a bit excited. All her journeys were stress free and even though she missed her connection coming home and dad had to go our and rescue her – she still enjoyed the adventure. The funniest part of the day for mum was when her lovely manager Karen tried to give her a lift back to the station in Penrith and even though it was less than 1 mile away – it took half an hour as they both got a bit lost ;-) Thank goodness for Sat Nav eh!!! xx

Anyway, here are mum’s photos……

Share photos on twitter with TwitpicJust thought I would say a very Good Morning to all you lovely dog bloggers!!! I have woken up in a very good mood this morning and even the sun is shining! Mum has just sent me this picture, which she says is of her office. I don’t really know what an office is, but it looks like a very untidy den with lots of  TV’s and funny chairs.

Oh well, there don’t seem to be any dogs or anyone for mum to play with, so I guess it must be a bit rubbish for her without me there to cuddle and act daft/cute. Oh well, I will just wait until all the pack gets home and throw the sad eyes at them then. Woof Woof!!

So can you believe that I have been to work today? Yes you read that right, WORK!! (well mum’s work). Mum had to cover today so we both went and had a whale of a time. I wandered around with mum before everyone arrived whilst we opened up and then I sat behind reception whilst mum basically just said hello & welcomed  the church group that was using the St Thomas Centre. I was doing OK until all the children arrived and then I got a bit giddy. I can’t help it, I am a giddy dog! Woof Woof x

I slept on and off whilst we were there and the children from the church group came to say hello to me every now and again and mum did her best to introduce me gently to them all. She told the smallest kids (who were about 3)  that I had fur like a teddy bear, so that they would feel OK to tickle me – I’ll take that, teddy bears are great! One of the mums wasn’t so keen, but I got the impression that she didn’t like dogs herself – she told the children that dogs were dirty and didn’t like to be touched, how RUDE! I ♥ to be touched and am only dirty after rolls in the mud. Tsk.

Still, I had a wonderful time and don’t know what mum moans about, work is easy :-P In other news, mum & dad have been to the Trafford Centre this afternoon and finally got dad his Mac Mini. He is so far beyond chuffed, its unreal. Woof Woof xx

Well here I am cuddling mum, trying to make her not so fed up as she is a little tired and is being her alter-ego “grumparella bobsikova”! I know this sounds a bit mentalist, but this is dad’s nickname for tetchy mum – sort of like the grumpy russian ice dancer version of her. :D  Anyway, she shouldn’t be grumpy at all, as she went to a gardening project in Dukinfield to give them a £12,000 grant!  Mum runs a Community  Grants Project, however, her job is a human thing (which I don’t understand as it’s not dog sniffing or running), but  it involves funding and charities and getting people back to work – I think. I thought you might like to see the picture that will be going in the paper:
