So another day, another walk and this one was a muddy one! We went around stinky brook – so call as it STINKS!! Woof Woof. Here is our route:

We had a wonderful time sniffing and chatting (I sniffed, they chatted) and it was brill. I was laughing at mum & dad as they both dressed in mutliple layers and in their waterproof clothes as the sky was dark and it looked cold out…. However, half way around the walk they were both boiling and peeling layers off at a million miles an hour :-)

Anyway, we did have a lovely time, but the only fly in the ointment was when we got back – they made me have a bath!!!! Yuk Yuk Yuk…… Mum thinks I look cute all wet, but I am NOT convinced!

So I have a question, if yesterday was “Good Friday” and tomorrow is “Easter Sunday” or “Easter Day”, then what is today? Is it just a day in lieu or something? Anyway, I haven’t really been doing much today, I am still getting over my little tummy bug/parasite. Did I tell you actually? Mum & dad took me to see our lovely vet Anna last week as I have had a poorly tummy over the last couple of weeks. Anna seems to think that I have picked up a parasite by drinking stagnant water out of puzzles on our walks. :-( But I have got some medicine and I am starting to feel much much better. Woof Woof.

Anyway, today I have been minding the den and mum & dad have been running some errands, one of which was going to see my lovely cousins Tilly & Lola. As usual, they posed for pictures… wanna see?

Mum and Dad are still at home!!! Yay!!! This has got something to do with Easter or eggs or banks or something, but either way the pack is still all here! Mum and dad have had a very busy day and I have been helping guard the front garden whilst mum tidied it up.  I did my best to help, which involved bobbing outside to sniff at the gate every now and then and generally just watching over things to make sure everyone was OK – it was quite good actually.  Here are the pictures of all their hard work:

Dad has spent most of the afternoon clearing out the back yard – but I mostly slept through that ;-) A girl can only do so much guarding in a day before the comfy new bed I got yesterday started to call my name……

Ah, its a dogs life! xx

easter-eggGood Morning All Dog Bloggers and a very Happy Easter to you! Now mum, dad & I don’t really do the “god” thing – but we wish you a Happy Easter all the same! Maybe it should be Happy Chocolate Egg Day?  Mum & Dad are at home so plans for today include a little walk/run and mostly sleeping. What’s not to like?!?

Enjoy yourself

Afternoon all,  just thought I would jump on dogblog and tell you that I have finally had my stitches out! Come on!! They had started to irritate me so I was glad to get rid of them. I still don’t really like it in the vets and I wouldn’t lie down on the table when we went so the vet nurse had to take my stitches out when I was on the floor!!! I was a bit wound up and thoroughly knackered and relieved when it was all done!

But when we got home (cone free I might add), Gran and Grandad Dixon came around and they gave me lots of cuddles and tickles. Here I am with Grandad…

So far so good and Grannie Barbie and Wack are here now watching Liverpool with Dad. I went for a little walk with dad before to the shop so hopefully it won’t be long before I can go training with them again.  No cone makes for a brilliant Saturday xx
