I’m so tired! What a busy weekend
Yesterday we went and did the red route* at Delamere Forest, then we went to the Hollies Farm Shop for some lovely noisettes of lamb, mmmm. Then after tea, we went out for ANOTHER walk to Tescos, just for fits & giggles.
Today I’ve been out for a lung busting run with dad and he had to stop & walk with me at the end… I AM nearly 11 though.
When we got back we all chilled and then dad said “Pet Shop?” to mum and before I know where I am, we are out again for a 40 minute walk. Woof Woof!! I am dog tired now (get it), so I think zzzz are in order. So tell me dogbloggers, what have you lot been up to?
Xxx
* the red route starts at Linmere visitors centre and is a 3 mile walk in the forest, signposted by red markers.
I am like SO proud of dad as he has run the Delamere Cancer Research 10k this morning and despite no training and being injured, he did it in 01:05:00 – which is woofing AWESOME *claps manically*. Mum and I went to cheer him along and went bonkers when he crossed the finish line.
We had a brilliant day and even met Auntie Alison and Uncle Patrick and Auntie Alison was giving out leaflet for her new job .
As always, mum took loads of piccies, wanna see?

The only slight of the day was that a horrible dog had a little nip of me when I went past it and mum had to shout at its owner. Mum said the owner was a stupid meathead and the dog should have been muzzled…. I don’t know what that means, but mum seemed pretty cross… my back is a little sore too.
It doesn’t matter though as dad is a running MACHINE!!! Woof Woof!!
What a lovely day today, mummy & daddy took me to the forest today. Dad is doing the Derwent Water Trail Race next month so he did a 7 mile run around the white route. Mum took me around the red route which is about 3 miles. It was great and we did a video….
We both had a lovely run around and I was dead hot when I got back. I had a sleep in the car on the way home and now I am ready to go again!
I also had an exciting time last Thursday as for the first time ever, Gran and Grandad Dixon babysat for me whilst mum & dad when out for tea. I did my usual 5-minute whinge, but I was fine after that and spent the rest of the time sniffing in the garden.
Anyway, I am off now to do my stuff. Have a good one
Peggy x
