Just a little message to wish all my lovely dog blog readers a very Happy Christmas! I hope you all have all been very good pups and will therefore have all got all the present you asked Father Christmas for.

I myself have been very good (if you don’t count the door eating incident in the summer) and so therefore I no doubt will be opening some Christmas dog biscuits later on.

Woof Woof to you all and whilst most people will tell you not to eat too much, my personal advice is: Eat Chocolate for breakfast and as much turkey as you can cram in!!

Lots of Love Peggy xxx

p.s. here are pictures of me chilling at Grandma Barbie & Grandad Wack’s on Christmas day…

Snowy Christmas TreeHey there everyone! I am starting to get a little excited about Christmas as its a week tomorrow!! We have had a busy few weeks lately and I think we are all looking forward to a rest in our den :-)

So our news is this:

  •  Auntie Jenny is feeling much better after her op and Tilly & Lola are also brillo pads.
  • Dad is totally “broken up for Christmas” in his head and cannot WAIT to finish work.
  • Mum has kind of got the coughy lergy thing and is off work today :-(

I am just chilling really and wondered what I might get for Christmas? As long as I get a bit of turkey, I’ll be happy. It is also my birthday on boxing day – so I am REALLY looking forward to that! Woof Woof.

Now then…. I think it might be time for a Christmas film with mum….. brilliant xxx

p.s. are you loving the snow on my blog – I hope it snows for real  – I love it xxx

Well then, I have been out today with mum and dad to somewhere called Trebaron Garden Centre. Now I have been there once before when mum & dad got our garden furniture, but this time we went for a very special reason…. Father Christmas was coming!!!! Now, I know what you are thinking.. its WAY TOO EARLY for Father Christmas, but mum says he has to come early so that he has enough time to go around and meeting all the other pups and people. We met Grandma & Grandad Dixon there and Auntie Jenny, Uncle Rob who had my two lovely cousins Lola-Mai (3 years) and Tilly-Rose (3 weeks). I have to say that Tilly wasn’t that fussed about Father Christmas and his reindeer when they arrived – but Lola had the best view ever on top of Uncle Rob’s shoulders!! Woof Woof.

As ever, we took lots of photos so you could all see for yourselves:

Of course, even though the reindeer were very cute and Father Christmas is a global icon, I was everyone’s favorite as I got lots of tickles from all the staff at Trebaron – go me :-)

countdownMorning dogbloggers!! Happy Friday to you all :-) :-)

I don’t know if you know, but my mum is a fan of any kind of countdown – so here are a few for you all to be getting on with:

It is….

  • 3.6 weeks till Mum & Dad go and see a pup called Ricky Gervais in Blackpool
  • 4.1 weeks until we put our Christmas Tree Up
  • 5.7 weeks until mum & dad finish work for Christmas
  • 6.0 weeks until Christmas Day
  • 6.1 weeks until MY BIRTHDAY!!!
  • 7.0 weeks until 2010
  • 18 weeks until Mum & Dad run the Sport Relief 6 miler
  • 21 weeks until Auntie Jenny, Uncle Rob, Lola-Mai & Tilly go to South Africa.
  • 25 weeks until Dad’s Birthday
  • 26 weeks until Mum & Dad run the Manchester 10k
  • 33 weeks until Mum’s Birthday

So I am pretty excited – but mostly about my birthday and Christmas as I am not totally sure what everything else is. Mum has told me that the running things mean I get to go out on lots of runs with the pack – which is ALWAYS a good thing  Woof Woof.

I don’t know if we have any plans yet for the weekend, but mum did mention that we would be seeing someone called Jack Bauer who lives in 24 – so that will be nice…. if he brings me treats. :P

We have got lots to look forward to, we might go to Delamere, we are spending the day with Lola Mai on Christmas Eve and then of course Father Christmas is coming.

Good morning all, just thought you might like to see that I am not the only doggy in the world who’s mum dresses her and makes her look a bit daft at Christmas!  I have got an email pen-pal Alasakan Malamute called Phoenix and look what her mum made her do!

We love it really!! Well I am off for another day snoozing and sniffing. I enjoyed my walk with dad this morning, it was dark but I like that!  Woof ya later.

Hey there dog blog readers, how are you all doing this frozzy cold Sunday? I am wonderful (thanks for asking) and just recovering from a visit from Gran and Grandad Dixon. :-) Yesterday was also a roaring success as we all got in the car and went to Langdale to watch Auntie Jill and Auntie Alison complete in a 10k race. As it turned out Auntie Jill had got the coughing lerg and didn’t run, but Auntie Alison did in an impressive 53 minutes. The course was supposed to be “undulating” but it was dead hilly!! I could have done it much quicker of course, but I do have 4 wheel drive after all.

Here is mum’s video.

It was a bit wet and cold for me and mum had to “towel me down” with her scarf I was so wet, but we were all together that I didn’t mind at all. Today, mum & dad have been out Christmas shopping and I have been guarding the house. Well… I say guarding, but I actually was sleeping and rummaging in the bin for food  ;-) . Anyway,  check out our gallery, as much has added some more lovely pictures of me doing cute stuff.

Woof ya later

So boys and girls, mum is still poorly, she is still full of a cold/flu and last night she had a raging temperature and was like an advert for Ready Brek (sorry I know I am showing my age there a little). For those of you who are too young and sprightly to remember, see picture in Gallery below…

Anyway, and after a long sleep, she feels a little better and her and dad decided to put the Christmas tree up. They always um and ar about getting a real tree, but quite frankly, they can never be arsed with all the faffing, so they have got a rather lovely fake one that Grandad Dixon bought us. Anyway, after a small tree-light related rigmarole, they put it up this afternoon. I helped as much as I could, by getting under everyones feet and curling up to sleep just in the spot where mum needed to put something very heavy down and in the end mum shouted what sounded like a rude word, but I sure this is just human for good dog!

Anyway, just as the day couldnt get any better, mum did this to me… (tut tut)

Actually, I think I would make a rather good Christmas helper, lots of food and giggly woofs, what’s not to like?

Love

Peggy

achooo!

achooo!

Well, what started off as a lovely week has turned out a bit rubbish for mum. She is full of a snotty cold again and she is NOT happy! She normally gets 1-2 colds a year max, but this is her 4th one this year! She is currently installed on the couch surrounded by tissues, cough medicine and of course, the pink  “comfort” blanket.

I am giving her as many cuddles as possibles and I just hope she gets better soon so that she can put the Christmas tree up tomorrow. I’ll keep my fingers crossed. Woof ya later x
