We’ve had an amazing day! Mum & dad have had their first ever BBQ in their new “urban garden”. Mum has just said that she and dad thought it went very well… Here’s who came:
- Grandma Barbara (dad’s mummy & world reknowned coffee shop guru
- Grandad Wack (dad’s dad & best golfer in the world)
- Auntie Jill (dad’s sister & head of the Judith Chalmers fan club
- Uncle Richard (Auntie Jill’s boyfriend & West Brom fan ?!?)
- Auntie Alison (dad’s sister & superstar athlete)
- Uncle Patrick (Auntie Alison’s partner & teaholic)
Auntie Jill & Uncle Richard even brought me my favourite treats, so that put me in a woofly mood straight away
To start off, we all had sausages & chicken, and when I say “all” I DO mean me too -whoopee!! Then after everyone had cake and I had a snooze.
When I woke up, I did a bit of fly watching (see picture) and I am writing this after having been out for the longest wee ever…well I couldn’t do it when everyone was here could I?
Woof Woof!!
Monday Update: Here are the photos, as you can see I make a brilliant guard dog (that is, a guard of sausages!)
Can you believe it? It’s actually sunny
I think this is only the second time this month we have had a sunny weekend! So mum & dad have been out this morning to the dreaded B&Q and got that rest of the stuff they needed to finish our new “urban garden”.
Dad has spent this afternoon putting up the rest of the bamboo screening and I have helped mum finish planting the pots!
I have to say it’s looks totally different and mum & dad are dead pleased… But more importantly, does anyone know if I am allowed to wee on the Hebe or Lavendar plants? Do you think mum would shout?
Anyway, I am pooped now so I’m off for a zzzz Blog ya later. Woof Woof!
Very busy day here with the pack, lots of activity in our back yard (soon to be urban garden)
We all spent the entire day outside fixing bamboo screening and potting plants, of course that is the “royal” we as I mostly spent the day following mum or dad about, being unable to settle as I wasn’t really sure what was going on!
It was all ok though as Grandma & Grandad Dixon came this afternoon and I got lots of tickles and cuddles – brilliant!
So we all had tea sat outside for the first time ever and we even lit the chimenea again, which I was put in charge of – as you can see. I rule.
