Well dogbloggers, it’s that time of year again when mum rallies the troops and this year she has signed up the girls in our family to do the Race for Life. In case you don’t know, the Race for Life is a 5k race for women, to raise money for Cancer Research and this year we have a brill team…

• Mum (Gill) – she is the team captain
• Grandma (Margaret)
• Auntie Susan
• Cousin Louise
• Shelly (Cousin Mark’s partner)

and if they are lucky, I might even join them…. Woo hoo!!

You might have noticed that our team is called the LadyBirds and one of the reasons we race is that Great Grandma Jessie is currently battling bladder cancer and is about to start her first course of radiotherapy at the grand old age of 89. GO JESSIE!!!
